NEW YORK, NY, March 5, 2007 -- The World Cyber Games(WCG), the recognized blue chip leader for international video gamecompetitions, and Circuit City Stores, Inc. proudly announce thelargest WCG Official Games lineup ever. Registration for the 2007 WCG USA Championship Tournament opens onMarch 5th at www.worldcybergames.com/usa. WCG global marketregistrations are locally driven, so international players shouldconsult their own country`s respective WCG website, all of which can beaccessed via www.worldcybergames.com .
Additionally, The WorldCyber Games has named Circuit City Stores, Inc. the officialentertainment, electronics, and video game retailer for the WCG USAChampionship Series and a WCG ``Premier`` partner for the next threeyears. As a Premier partner, Circuit City will receive officialdesignations, event signage, event and online advertising, and brandexposure. The announcements were made by Michael Arzt, senior vicepresident and general manager of International Cyber Marketing USA,organizer of the WCG, and Peter Weedfald, senior vice president, chiefmarketing officer of Circuit City.
Also as a result of thepartnership, The World Cyber Games USA and Circuit City are discussingplans to launch the ``WCG Circuit City Circuit`` – an exclusive seriesof online and in-store gaming tournaments that would feed winningplayers into the World Cyber Games USA Championship Series. CircuitCity also will execute a multi-million dollar co-branded media andadvertising campaign and contribute to the WCG prize purses.
