照片疯传：携子跋涉2400公里遭拦下 母哀求士兵

美墨边境：佩雷斯带着儿子来到墨西哥边境城市华雷斯城，被一名墨西哥士兵拦下。

连日来攀山涉水，越过多少个高山多少个谷，危地马拉一名母亲脞身带着6岁儿子远离家乡2400公里，只为进入美国，让儿子有更好未来。但是在「最后一哩路」、距离美国边境仅几步之遥时，他们却被墨西哥士兵拦下。

朝思暮想的国度明明远在天边近在眼前，这一刻却是这麽近那麽远。母亲掩面哭泣，无力地蹲下来恳求全副武装的士兵网开一面；欲哭无泪的男孩，则与士兵对望，一脸不甘。

7月22日傍晚，佩雷斯（Ledy Pérez）带着儿子来到墨西哥边境城市华雷斯城（CiudadJuárez），一河之隔的对岸就是美国。天色已渐沉，一名墨西哥士兵将二人拦下，双方胶着约9分钟。

拍下这一幕的路透社摄影记者冈萨雷斯（Jose LuisGonzalez）指出，当时佩雷斯乞求这名墨西哥士兵让他们过境美国，她说「我只想我的儿子有更好的生活」。



士兵「望向远处」母子成功过境

他忆述，这名士兵解释自己只是奉命行事，而佩雷斯则表现得无畏无惧，在这名携有步枪的士兵望向远处时，与儿子蓄到河边进入美国领土。最后成功非法过境美国，被美国海关与边境保护局（Customsand Border Protection）拘留，为申请庇护留下一线生机。

有关照片在网上引起热议，亦让外界关注墨西哥的边境士兵。在美国施压下，墨西哥当局派驻近三分之一的军事化警察部队在边境巡逻。

冈萨雷斯指出，目前还不清楚这对母子的将来，但他们在照片中的表情，正好反映所有移民的痛苦。对于外界有不少声音批评这班非法移民为何不留在祖国，他表示：「每个移民都有一个他们的故事」。
